Coming off wins at the Whiskies of the World expo in Austin last week, co-founder Mark McDavid talks about the future of the emerging craft distilling industry and the direction of Ranger Creek. What was your biggest takeaway from that event? For me, it was that the craft element of whiskey is still growing, it's still relatively small. The perspective I have going straight from the Texas Craft Brewers' Festival, where it was a huge beer festival that sold out with thousands of people and all craft beer, like no macro beer at all there, and then going to the Whiskies of the World Festival, where mostly it's still big brands, we're still in our infancy.
