ACM recognizes excellence through its eminent awards for technical and professional achievements and contributions in computer science and information technology. It also names as Fellows and Distinguished Members those members who, in addition to professional accomplishments, have made significant contributions to ACM's mission. ACM awards recognize achievements by young computing professionals, educators, theoretical computer scientists, software systems innovators, and pioneers who have made humanitarian and cross-discipline contributions. Award nominations deadlines occur throughout the year, with a heavy concentration in January.
Call for Nominations: ACM India Best Doctoral Dissertation Award for 2020
The Reading Committee, generally composed of previous Award or Accolade winners, takes on the task of reading and assessing the entries. Committee members first produce a public Longlist of the leading contenders in each category, then a Shortlist, and finally the Winners. The Committee also grants the Accolades, which are not necessarily dissertations that have made it onto the Longlist.
We invite registrations from all final year PhD students and their research supervisors along with Industry personnel across the nation to be a part of a revolution where innovation lies at the epicenter. These awards are meant to recognize and celebrate, high quality and original research work displayed in PhD theses submitted in the past year. Best Poster Award. Thousand 1st Prize.
